    Hello,

Please note while Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is a mandatory requirement in locations like US and Canada, it is not so when it comes to UK, Germany etc. and you will come across a good number of universities that do not require GRE.

However, a good score on the GRE definitely increases you options. Now with regard to the score, while the saying goes, the better the GRE score, the better your chances to consider the top notch schools, it still would be inappropriate to state that a good GRE school will definitely get you through the top notch schools. The same goes for Test of English as Foreign Language-TOEFL as well.

However, generally an overall score of 100+ on the TOEFL and 1200 + (550+ V and 770 +) on GRE should help you through decent universities.

Also, please note, one aspect of the profile is not counted during the evaluation procedure and the admissions committee consider the entire application. This simply explains why many a times a profile with GRE score of 1100 makes through a university and a profile with 1200 on GRE does not in the same university.

Considering all the aspects I would recommend the best approach would be give in your best and try and earn the best possible score. In fact you can join our community on GRE and gain access to detailed information and the most sought professional guidance. You may access the following link for the same :

    GRE

Also, if Automobile Engineering is on your mind, I would recommend you consider USA, UK or Germany.

    I hope this helps!

    Take care!

    Hello,

Well GRE is not mandatory for most of the German Universities but may be asked for by a few Universities.

It is always good to report GRE scores. As it helps you to showcase your ability while competing with other applicants. Also it will make you eligible to apply to other countries too.

Thus my advise is to take this test and do report your scores.

    Hello Dipesh,

Thanks for writing to Learnhub for your queries!

    Considering your queries:

    1. Education standards o not vary much. Its the delivery of higher education, pedagogy and objective of education which differs across these two countries.

    2. There are definitely programs available in Information Systems in Germany. Jobs are available but it depends a lot on how you network. Also Germany is a lot better than other European countries.

    3. Germany has long been known to be an automotive hub. But opportunities in other sectors specifically IT and Electronics also exist because of the automobile sector advancement in Germany.

Germany may cost you less compared to US. I am comparing it with US because US undoubtedly can offer your better job prospects in your area of interest.

In case some of your queries are still unanswered, you can post them further.

    I would be answer them.

In case you have plans to apply by coming Fall, you can write to me at ankita.arora@learnhub.com for admission related assistance.

Hope you will write back soon!

hi , my doubt is that i want to go to germany to study automobile engineering but my friends are saying that after completion of graduation they will not give you a job and you have to come to india for work. And they are saying that germans show rationalism in giving jobs to non-german students. Germany will not permit for staying there for doing job is it true please help me.
