I would like to know about the ranking of Salford university. I am planning to pursue a course of MSc in aerospace design and manufacturing. I would like to know the prospects of this course and what salary can I expect as a fresher after completing this program. (Need of the above information is quite urgent!)

Salford University looks to be like a very reputable, interactive and innovative institution. I can understand why you’d be looking into this school, as it ranks within the top three schools in the UK for research. Quality of courses and the academic standards are ranked highly at Salford, as well as independent institution audits allow them to continually strive for a higher level of teaching and quality instruction.
Physics, a subject you would most likely take as part of your MSc program is rated one of the best in the UK. Are you interested in the BEng in Aeronautical Engineering perhaps? Salford’s websites says that “the programme is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society as a pathway leading to Chartered Engineer status”. This means that you would be able to attain job prospects after your graduation in many fields including design, manufacture, operation of aerospace vehicles, even other aerospace related industries. If you are interested in the prospects of manufacturing, you may find it interesting that you can involve yourself with avionics, environmental control. even parts manufacture such as engines.
I’m not exactly sure of salaries in this field, however I do know that these sort of careers are very lucrative. The aerospace industry will no doubt be expanding, and having a background in this will surely make you an avid and focussed candidate because of your research and studies.
